Arrived at Streaky Bay today & met up with Gail & Graham & Sandy & Wayne.
Did a little fruitless fishing (Graham caught a fish) & had a fire & drinks on the beach.
Night time entertainment at Kimba was netball training, just ashort walk from our van.
And a little AFL.
A 6K walking trail started just outside the camp. There were metal sculptures scattered all along it.
The first was an emu.
Steel wombat.
Steel snake.
Steel Echidna.
Steel Bush Turkey.
Steel Kangaroos.
Steel Owl. The animals are very hard here.
Along the morning walk.
Although we are hundreds of Ks inland, the ground is covered in sea shells from when this was all under water. The shells must be extremely old.
At the top of the hill at the far end of the walk are these sculptures of steel. They stand at least 4 metres tall.
